If you’re a busy parent, have picky eaters in your house, or just want to try something new for snack time, this is the perfect recipe for you! It’s quick and easy.
This DIY fruit leather recipe is truly delicious and so much better than store-bought. It contains nothing else but healthy, nutritious ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups of fruit of your choice, or this recipe was made with:
1 cup of frozen mangos
1 cup of frozen raspberries
1 medium-sized apple, cored (we used Gala apples)
1 Tablespoon of Pomegranate powder
Optional: honey or agave nectar for more sweetness

DIRECTIONS:
Puree all ingredients in a food processor or blender until completely smooth. This may take a couple of minutes to get everything nice and combined. Next, line a dehydrator tray with a sheet of parchment paper. If using an oven, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or place a silicone baking mat on the cookie sheet. Pour the mixture onto the prepared tray and spread an even layer of the puree. Be careful not to leave any gaps in the paper showing through. Once done, place the tray into the dehydrator for about 4 hours at 118 degrees. Check periodically until the mixture has dried completely. If using an oven, preheat the oven to the lowest temperature setting, usually 140 to 170 degrees. Place the mixture into the oven and bake for 6-8 hours, or until the center is no longer sticky. After the fruit leather is finished, let it cool and cut into strips. Store in an airtight container and place in a cool, dry area or freeze.
