These chocolate covered pineapple rings will satisfy all your sweet tooth cravings! They taste better than candy and are definitely more healthy.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cored pineapple
1/3 cup organic coconut oil
2 Tbs raw cacao powder
2 tsp organic vanilla extract
2 Tbs maple syrup
1 cup organic shredded coconut
pinch of sea salt
DIRECTIONS:
Cut your pineapple into 1/4 inch slices (if you make them thicker, dehydrating will take ages!) Dehydrate them for about 4-5 hours at 118 F or below if you want your pineapple to be considered raw. In the meantime, melt coconut oil with cacao powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and sea salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined. First, dip your dehydrated pineapple rings into the chocolate sauce, and then, when still wet, dunk them into shredded coconut flakes. Let cool for about 15 minutes and enjoy! They taste better than any kind of candy!
