Lavender essential oil is one of the most versatile oils. Its sweet floral aroma is very calming and comforting. It may be a great addition to your skincare products.
10 USES OF LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL:
1. ACNE: Dab a drop into a pimple and it should disappear within 2-3 days
2. HEADACHE: Mix 3-5 drops with 1 Tbs of carries oils (coconut or olive) and dab into your temples
3. INSOMNIA: Sprinkle a few drops into your pillow or inhale the aroma 3-4 times straight from the bottle
4. SMALL WOUND AND CUTS: First clean the affected area with water, then apply a drop of lavender essential oil
5. SUNBURN: Mix a few drops with a carrier oil (black cumin oil would work great for sunburn)
6. RELAXING FOOT BATH: Add 10-15 drops and 1 cup of Epsom Salt into a bowl of warm water and soak your feet for about 15 minutes
7. BUG BITES: Apply a drop into an affected area and watch the swelling disappear
8. HAIR GROWTH: Mix about 6 drops of lavender essential oil into 1 Tbs of coconut water and use as a conditioner before washing your hair
9. AIR REFRESHER: Mix about 20 drops of lavender EO into a 10 oz water in a spray bottle; shake well
10. HAY FEVER: Inhale the aroma straight from the bottle a few times a day
IMPORTANT: Always do a dab test before using any essential oil; just dab it into your forearm, and leave for 15 minutes to see if any allergic reaction appears
